Photo Fundraiser Fun at H. Frank Carey
H. Frank Carey High School’s Shared Decision Making Committee sponsored
the second annual Valentine’s Day Photo Booth fundraiser during lunch periods on Students and teachers flocked to the event, where several backdrops were
set up for photo fun.
Participants also had an opportunity to choose from hundreds of props to pose with. Student volunteers from the Shared Decision Making Committee were hands-on working the booth, taking hundreds of Polaroid pictures of everyone that struck a pose. Cookies baked by Joan Chieffo and members of the Family and Consumer Science Department sold out in an instant.
Assistant Principal Sharon Flynn, who heads the Shared Decision Making
Committee reflected, “This was truly a fun filled day that lifted the school spirit at Carey High School! Watching teachers and students acting silly and dressing up together for such a good cause was such a special thing to witness.”
All proceeds from the photo booth fundraiser will help supplement the cost
of this year’s Challenge Day two-day event.
